Registering for an event
By registering for an event on this platform you agree to abide by the event's rules (category eligibility, course cutoffs, bib/timing-tag requirements), to the accuracy of the information you provide, and to Sanmati's and the organizer's right to use event photography or footage you appear in for promotional purposes. Sanmati provides the registration, timing, and results platform on the organizer's behalf and is not itself the event organizer unless stated otherwise for a specific event.
Refunds and cancellation
Registration fees are non-refundable once paid, except where an event is cancelled or rescheduled by the organizer — in that case a credit toward a future Sanmati-hosted event (or a refund at the organizer's discretion) is offered. A registration may be transferred to another runner in the same category up to a deadline set per event.
Merchandise returns
Event merchandise (apparel, medals, goodies) sold through an event's storefront may be returned within 7 days of delivery if unused and in original packaging, for a replacement or store credit. Perishable items and made-to-order or personalized items (custom bib names, bulk-ordered printed sizes) are non-returnable.
Identity verification (KYC)
Some categories require an identity document (a photo of a government-issued ID) at registration or bib pickup, for age verification and anti-fraud purposes. This document is stored securely and used only for that verification — it is never published or shared with a third party except where required by law.
Emergency escalation
On-course medical incidents are triaged by event medical staff and, where necessary, escalated to the nearest empanelled ambulance provider and the emergency contact you provided at registration. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we commit to reporting to CERT-In within 6 hours and to the Data Protection Board of India and to you within 72 hours, per DPDP Rules 2025.
